Ascending to Jerusalem on the Israel National Trail

This will be perfect if you’re on a pilgrimage and want to experience going to Jerusalem on foot, as people did for thousands of years as they excitedly made their way to their goal – the Holy City of Jerusalem.
The trail starts from the Ben Shemen hill, near Ben Gurion Airport, continues to the Ayalon Valley and to the terraced groves of the Judean Mountains.
It ends west of the city where it links up to the Jerusalem Trail.

The trail is 33km 2-3 days trek.
DAY 1-13km: From the Ben Shemen forest to Neve Shalom- Latrun.
DAY 2- 20km: From Neve Shalom to the Sataf spring.
